In this instruction you will learn to apply for Adhoc/Recurring unavailability. Adhoc and Recurring unavailability is particularly used by casual and part-time workers to inform Junction when they are unavailable for a shift. Adhoc unavailability is used when you have a one-off event and are not available for a shift eg. have an exam, attend a funeral or child’s sport day. Application is via ESS, however you will need to inform your Supervisor that your application has been submitted and is pending their approval. Recurring unavailability is when there is a regular event for example: attend uni, work at another organisation or volunteer at child’s school on a particular day. You cannot apply for Recurring unavailability via your ESS, this needs to be a direct conversation with your Supervisor. You cannot apply for Adhoc unavailability in the current fortnight, this needs to be a conversation with your Supervisor.
